Each December, we host an event called Affordable Christmas. This is a joyful shopping experience that helps local, qualified families provide Christmas gifts for the children in their lives with dignity and celebration.
Rather than giving away gifts for free, we offer brand-new items at very reduced prices ($1–$4 per gift) so caregivers can personally choose and purchase gifts for the children they love. This small exchange affirms dignity and ownership, honoring families as providers who take pride in selecting gifts that will bring joy on Christmas morning.
In addition to shopping, families enjoy a sit-down meal, desserts, entertainment, and a fun kids’ area while caregivers shop. It is a beautiful evening that celebrates the joy of giving and receiving in community.
This event has always been made possible through individual donations of time and gifts from our church and community
There are a few ways to get involved:
Pray for the families who will come to shop this year, that they would experience joy, hope, and a sense of God’s presence. Pray that they would feel welcome here and know they can return to visit or join our church family.
Pray for every volunteer and supporter, that our church would reflect the love and generosity of Jesus in every interaction.

Financial gifts allow us to fill in any gaps in inventory, provide meals and hospitality, and ensure every part of the evening runs smoothly. Every dollar directly supports families in our community.

This year we’re introducing a new opportunity for families, businesses, and organizations to participate through sponsorships. Sponsors help cover event costs and provide an even greater impact for local families.
