Sunday Gathering

Each Sunday we gather as a church to remember and celebrate the Gospel. We believe that this practice over time shapes who we are and our desires which is essential in our discipleship with Jesus.

We would love for you join on a Sunday at 625 Meramec Station Rd Manchester, MO 63021 at 8:30 and 10:30 am.

You can also join us on our livestream or watch any of our previous sermons by hitting the button below.

FAQ

Here's a list of questions we regularly get about our gatherings. If you still have questions, you can email us at hello@thejourney.org
What should I expect when I visit?

When you enter our lot, you will drive past our main building into a parking lot with ample parking. You will then head toward our main entrance (the first building you drive past upon entering), where greeters will be standing by to provide directions and answer any questions. Inside our lobby, you will see the check-in for Journey Kids, our connection corner, fellowship area, restrooms, and entrance to the sanctuary.

What are services like?

We aim for our services, which typically last about an hour and twenty minutes, to be engaging, challenging, and, most of all, point people to the hope of Jesus.

We are not a perfect church. We are flawed and imperfect, but we come together to be made into a people who look like Jesus. We desire to have passionate and formational worship, bold and honest prayer, and teaching that is applicable and challenging.

What about things for my kids or students?

For those with kids, we offer age-appropriate discipleship groups for children age four months to 5th grade. Families are encouraged to arrive  15 minutes before service begins to get their children checked in and settled before the start of service.

New families can visit our Journey Kids check-in area by entering through the Family Entrance. Here, you can register your child and get checked in. And if you'd prefer to have your kids in service with you, they are most welcome.

For families with students, we offer Journey Students on Sunday mornings for 6th-8th graders during our 10:30am service. Please drop them off at The Annex on the lower level of our parking lot.

High school students (9th-12th grade) meet on Wednesday nights from 6:00-8:00pm during the school year in The Annex. For summer gathering details, follow @journeystudents_WC on Instagram.

Do you take communion each week?

Yes! Towards the end of each service, we take communion to respond to the message and remember the work of Christ. All who have given their lives to Jesus are welcome to participate.
