Sunday Gathering

Each Sunday we gather as a church to remember and celebrate the Gospel. We believe that this practice over time shapes who we are and our desires which is essential in our discipleship with Jesus.

We would love for you join on a Sunday at 625 Meramec Station Rd Manchester, MO 63021 at 8:30 and 10:30 am.

You can also join us on our livestream or watch any of our previous sermons by hitting the button below.

FAQ

Here's a list of questions we regularly get about our gatherings. If you still have questions, you can email us at infowc@thejourney.org
What should I expect when I visit?

When you enter our lot, you will drive past our main building into a parking lot with ample parking. You will then head toward our main entrance (the first building you drive past upon entering), where greeters will be standing by to provide direction and answer any questions. Inside our lobby, you will see the check-in for Journey Kids, our welcome center, fellowship area, restrooms, and entrance to the sanctuary.

What are services like?

We aim for our services, which typically last about an hour and twenty minutes, to be engaging, challenging, and, most of all, point people to the hope of Jesus.

We are not a perfect church. We are flawed and imperfect, but we come together to be made into a people who look like Jesus. We desire to have passionate and formational worship, bold and honest prayer, and teaching that is applicable and challenging.

What about things for my kids or students?

For those with kids, we offer age-appropriate discipleship groups for children age 4 months to 5th grade. Families are encouraged to arrive by 15 minutes before service begins to get their children checked in and settled before the start of service.

New families can visit our Next Step Center in the lobby to register and get checked in. Of course, if you would prefer to have your kids in service with you, they are most welcome.

For those with students, we offer our Journey Student ministry on Sunday mornings for 6th-8th grade. We meet in the lobby and head down to our secondary building, the Annex.

For 9th-12th grade, we meet on Wednesday nights from 6:00-8:00pm in the Annex.

Do you take communion each week?

Yes! Towards the end of each service, we take communion as a response to what has just been preached and as a way to remember the work of Christ. Anyone who has given their life to Jesus is welcome to participate.

We do provide gluten-free communion options as well as individual communion packets.
