Our mission is to become apprentices of Jesus by being with Him, being transformed by Him, and partnering with Him.Serving is one of the ways we live this out together. God has placed us in this city for a reason. He is already at work, and He invites us to join Him with open hands and open hearts. As we serve, we grow as apprentices of Jesus and help others experience His love in everyday ways.
At The Journey, our volunteers play a vital role in carrying out this mission. Our Serving Teams give us a practical way to walk with Jesus, partner with the Spirit, and serve others as He did. If you call The Journey your home, we want to help you find places to serve that use and grow your gifts while deepening your discipleship with Him.

Serving at The Journey gives you a chance to walk closely with Jesus and with others. Every team is a place to grow, to give, and to share in what God is doing. Together, we learn to follow His lead and become more like Him.
In every role, we seek to reflect the heart of Christ by embodying the leadership qualities He modeled:
