The Journey Tower Grove
Three Practical Ways to Engage
Commit to Sunday Services
At 10 a.m., each week, we invite you to tune into a virtual Sunday service. The schedule will alternate from week to week between a One Church virtual service (our current Sunday worship experience) and a new local virtual service.
At Tower Grove, you’ll get to hear God’s Word preached by our local pastors and elders and join in on our Prayers of the People time.
Engage in Our Tower Grove Family Gathering
Twice a month, you will have the opportunity to safely gather in-person with our local church family.
At Tower Grove, we will offer two different kinds of Church Family Gatherings each month. The first is an outdoor picnic, which we are calling Party on the Pavement. Weather permitting, we will gather in a bring-your-own-everything picnic atmosphere to connect with one another in fellowship. Children are encouraged to bring their bikes and scooters! The second is, what we are calling, Stories and Songs. We will gather to read Scripture, sing songs of praise, hear stories from our church family, and, in the near future, participate in communion. Registration will be required for each of these Church Family Gatherings. The schedule for the Church Family Gatherings are as follows:
- August 16: Party on the Pavement (5-6:30 p.m.)
- August 30: Singing and Stories (6 p.m.)
- September 13: Picnic with God’s People (5-6:30 p.m.)
- September 27: Singing and Stories (6 p.m.)
Connect with a Group
Now, more than ever, we all need consistent and intentional ways to connect with, learn from, and care for one another. We believe that this happens best in a smaller group setting. Many of us are familiar with Community Groups, but we are seeking to expand our approach to groups to include greater variety based on the needs in our church.
At Tower Grove, we will soon launch new and returning Care, City, Community, Connect, and Content Groups. To learn more about these groups or to start a new group, go to thejourney.org/community.
