The Journey Metro East
Three Practical Ways to Engage
Commit to Sunday Services
At 10 a.m., each week, we invite you to tune into a virtual Sunday service. The schedule will alternate from week to week between a One Church virtual service (our current Sunday worship experience) and a new local virtual service.
At Metro East, we'll have the opportunity to hear directly from Pastor Charlie, preaching to our Metro East family.
Engage in Our Church Family Gathering
Twice a month, you will have the opportunity to safely gather in-person with our local church family.
At Metro East, this will look like us gathering outdoors at 4:15 p.m. every other week starting on August 16. These meetings will last 45 minutes and will include singing, prayer, and communion once a month.
We will still encourage social distancing and will require masks for those 9 years old and up. If you desire to continue to have fellowship afterward, pack a picnic and spend some time with your church community.
Connect with a Group
Now, more than ever, we all need consistent and intentional ways to connect with, learn from, and care for one another. We believe that this happens best in a small group setting.
At Metro East, many of us are familiar with Community Groups, but we are seeking to expand our approach to groups to include greater variety based on the needs in our church. In addition to Community Groups, you are able to sign up for many other groups happening across The Journey such as Care, Content, City, and Connect Groups. We encourage you to check out the Groups page on our website for more information.
