Production Systems Specialist

Qualifications

  4. Experienced in technical troubleshooting and problem solving
  5. Demonstrates technical expertise in all forms of audio-visual systems
  6. Able to synthesize and simplify complex information for training purposes
  7. Self-driven and eager to continuously expand knowledge base and skill set
  8. Ability to consistently capture and deliver multi-camera video sermons
  9. Customer service oriented with personable communication and training skills
  10. Ability to install, operate, and maintain audio, video and lighting (AVL) systems

 

Basic Job Description

The Production Systems Specialist in the Technology Department functions as the lead production support specialist in live environments for all Journey locations. This position is responsible for the weekly maintenance and operation of all production systems, as well as the weekly sermon capture and delivery process. This position also multiplies the effectiveness of the Technology Department through training of volunteers and staff in the daily operation of all church production systems. This role is successful when The Journey’s locations reliably experience technology systems that amplify their ministries.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Install, operate, and maintain all church production systems
  2. Coordinate weekly sermon capture with volunteers and contractors
  3. Perform pre/post-production for weekly sermon distribution
  4. Train staff, interns, and volunteers on the use of production systems and software
  5. Provide weekend emergency support to Journey locations
  6. Assist with special projects with the Technology Department
  7. Develop training materials and resources for staff, interns, and volunteers
  8. On-call support for events and services

 

 

Status: Full-Time, non-exempt/hourly

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday services; on-call; available for events and services as needed

Hours: 40 hrs/week
