A MESSAGE FROM PASTOR SCOTT

Church Family,

We recently gathered with Journey family from our other St. Louis metro locations to celebrate as one church. It was an incredible evening of community, joy, and worship – and a beautiful picture of our people coming together to enjoy God’s grace and embody His love to one another. Here is a link to a short video that highlights some special moments from the evening.

For me, the evening was a visible reminder of why we are one church. Simply put, we are better together! Here at The Journey, God has united a diverse body of believers, uniquely gifted to carry out His mission. If we are going to be a part of seeing our city awakened to and transformed by the love of Jesus, we will need each other. All of us must be engaged, using our gifts, for The Journey to be all that God has called us to be. What next step might God be calling you to take as you seek to enjoy His grace, embody His love, and engage our culture? Would you be so bold to ask Him and then so courageous to follow wherever He leads? Imagine the church we might become if each of us was willing to take our next step….

For some, the next step of obedience is baptism. Next weekend, October 14, we will celebrate baptisms at each of our Journey locations. Baptism is a beautiful picture of the redeeming work God has done in the hearts of His people. If you are a follower of Jesus and have never been baptized, or were baptized as an infant and now want to follow in believer’s baptism, we would love to talk to you about participating this Sunday. You can register by visiting our website or send us an email to talk further.

I hope to see you on the 14th when we’ll celebrate as one church family!

By His grace and for His glory,
Pastor Scott

Have you noticed our new prayer room? It's located right off our lobby at the top of the stairs. The room is designed to be a quiet place to connect with God in prayer on your own or with another person (deacons, elders, and staff are available). Stop by and check it out!

We’re hiring! At The Journey, our work is inspired by our vision to see our city awakened to and transformed by the love of Jesus. Interested in joining our team?

We're currently looking to hire a Journey Kids Administrator. This individual would work to provide the smooth operation and administration of Journey Kids at West County, specifically weekend services. He/she will ensure materials and resources are ready for the weekend and provide administrative support for special events and initiatives.
