UPCOMING EVENTS
Thursday, May 17, 7-9 p.m.
If you play drums and/or percussion and have an interest in either plugging into the worship team or just meeting and jamming with other musicians, you're invited to bring your sticks (and earplugs) and join us for our May Worship Workshop on Thursday, May 17, from 7-9 p.m. We'll cover topics ranging from essential skills and practices to how we approach music and lead from the kit. Contact Corbin for more info. 
 

Saturday, May 19, 8:15-11:45 a.m.

We will be helping sort donated items at the warehouse of The Little Bit Organization. Students will meet at the church building to head there at 8:15 a.m. and will return at 11:45 a.m. on May 19. Email Melissa Millheim for more information.

 
This training will focus on child abuse prevention and safety in children's ministry and classroom management strategies. It is open to all current Journey Kids volunteers and those interested in serving with our children.

Wednesday nights starting June 20 – August 8, from 6-8 p.m. 

We will be going through a six-week Bible study called Uninvited, Living Loved When You Feel Less Than, Left Out and Lonely by Lysa TerKeurst.

Affton Christian Food Pantry Needs
Saturday, May 19

SHIFT 1: 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
SHIFT 2: 1-4 p.m.

Saturday, May 19, is Shop Out Hunger Day in St. Louis. AFCP needs our help staffing processing teams at the pantry during two shifts: 10 a.m.-1 p.m.  AND  1-4 p.m. We need about 4-5 people per shift. Please contact Dale Miesner if interested in serving.
