Journey Family,
A vital part of our mission as The Journey, and as a part of the Church of Jesus, is to boldly engage culture with his truth from our neighborhood to the nations. Through our sharing of the Good News and good works, we are called to be salt and light in accordance with Matthew 5:13-15. Yet, we cannot do this alone. This is why The Journey Tower Grove intentionally partners with other ministries and churches in the city of St. Louis.
During our services in the month of October and early November, we will spend time highlighting these partner ministries: Young Life South City, Urban K-Life, Mission St. Louis and Oasis International. We will learn how the Lord is using the people who serve, and how He is growing them as a result of the relationships they’ve built. Representatives from each of the organizations will be present to do informational meetings between the 8:30 and 10:30 Sunday services.
We are asking you to listen closely to what is shared each weekend and consider how the Lord would have you to respond:
- Is it to pray? We will equip you with more regular prayer requests from these ministries. We want to petition the Lord on their behalf.
- Is it participate? We are asking the Lord to raise up a City Group for each of these ministries. We want to send more than our financial resources.
We look forward to learning and growing together, on mission.
God bless,
Sabrine Rhodes
Director of Cultural Engagement
