During the past month, we have been focusing on Tower Grove's partner ministries. While the ministries and churches we have highlighted are locally based in our neighborhoods, we want to be a church that boldly engages our culture with his truth from our neighborhood to the nations. That is why we are partnering with the Henleys.

Megan and Jerret Henley have been members at The Journey Tower Grove for the last 8 years and are moving to Tokyo to reach the second largest unreached people group in the world! They are praying toward a departure date of mid-January – but there are practical ways that you can participate and partner with them in their sending. Watch the 3-minute video above to hear an update and learn more.

How can you support Megan and Jerret?

  • To connect with them about joining their support team, contact Jerret at 314.307.2091 or
  • You can also visit their giving page. Every bit counts!
  • To keep up with them, follow their Facebook page or subscribe to their newsletter here
  • From the Henleys: Would you pray for us during the month of November, that the Lord would provide abundantly for our remaining need and that we would be fully prepared and equipped to depart in mid-January?

The Peace God Gives

Happy November Journey family!

Fall is a season that goes by quickly. No sooner have summer vacations and activities ended, than school resumes, schedules fill up, and the holidays swiftly approach.

We shared with you in September an update on our senior pastor search and Curtis’ candidacy for this role. While there is continued progress being made in the interview process with Curtis, there is not much new to share about the search at this time. We ask that you please continue to pray for Curtis and the team – and it is our hope to provide an update to you in the next few weeks.

For a long time, it’s been a conviction of the Board of Elders to communicate more consistently with local churches. What we recognize is that the majority of our communications to you focus on more formal updates about the life of our church. It is our desire, at other times, to have the opportunity to share with you what God is putting on our hearts as a means of encouragement to you. Continue reading

Open Table is an opportunity to embody love and demonstrate hospitality within our church family and community. It allows both hosts and guests to connect over a holiday meal, encourages a continued mindset of open tables and open hearts, and is a way to faithfully live out being the family of God in obedience to our Savior, who commands us to embody love to those within the body of Christ and those outside the church.

We want you to know that no matter who you are or what season of life you are in, you have something to bring to the table and will be a blessing to those around you!

Learn more and register now to be part of Open Table on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or Christmas Day.

This Sunday (November 3), Daylight Savings Time ends!
Don't forget to turn your clocks back Saturday night for an extra hour of sleep!

Congratulations to Sparkle Williams for her winning habanero mango chili!
We had a great crowd and lots of delicious food.  Thanks to all who came out for a fun night of community!
