March All Church Prayer

We would love for you to join us the first Sunday of every month for our all church prayer night. This is an informal event where we pray for personal, church and global things going on in the world around us. Kids are welcome to participate!

Journey Students!

Journey Students is a place for your child to belong.

Our mission is to partner with your family to help your children love God more today than they did yesterday, be discipled in the love and truth of Jesus, and to trust Jesus with their today, tomorrow, and eternity.

At Journey Students, we are committed to this happening in a fun and safe environment that your child will want to return to every week.

Life can be busy and difficult, and we believe that no one should do life alone, including middle and high school students. We are passionate about walking alongside your family and believe that everyone needs a safe place to belong where they can discover more about the hope that Jesus offers.

Are you or someone you know interested in pursuing membership at The Journey? Head on over to our website for more information!

This year, our Easter Choir will launch a regular rhythm of a choir leading us in worship throughout the year. I hope you will join us for rehearsals in March (15th and 29th @ 7pm) as we grow in community with one another and prepare to celebrate Easter together. The choir is a great opportunity to meet new people and develop new friendships. Join us!

Members of the Journey Metro East, you are cordially invited to attend our quarterly members meeting. It will take place immediately following Sunday service. This is a great opportunity to hear about what’s happening in the church, receive training, fellowship with like-minded believers, and have fun! Head on over to our website to register for lunch and childcare.

Empowered To Connect, together with Show Hope and The Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development at TCU, hosts the Empowered To Connect Conference — a two-day conference designed to help adoptive and foster parents, ministry leaders and professionals better understand how to connect with “children from hard places” in order to help them heal and become all that God desires for them to be.

The conference features David Cross, Mandy Howard, Daren Jones, Dan and Terri Coley, Ryan and Kayla North, Casey Call, and Cindy Lee and is ideal for adoptive and foster parents, those considering adoption or foster care and those who are serving and supporting others, including social workers, agency professionals, church staff and ministry leaders, counselors, therapists and others.

This two day conference event will be held at the Journey Church from 9am to 5pm both Friday and Saturday. Doors open at 8:30am each day. Coffee, water and light refreshments will be provided during the morning and afternoon breaks. There will be a 1-and-a-half hour break scheduled for an off-site lunch each day.
