Here's a message from Pastor Curtis!

April All-Church Prayer

We would love for you to join us this Sunday at 5:30 in the Multipurpose Room! This is an informal event where we pray for personal, church, and global things going on in the world around us. Kids are welcome to participate!

Journey Students

Journey Students is a place for your child to belong.

Our mission is to partner with your family to help your children love God more today than they did yesterday, be discipled in the love and truth of Jesus, and to trust Jesus with their today, tomorrow, and eternity.

Join us April 8th and 22nd at 4:30pm-6:30 in the gym.

If you’ve been with us for a few weeks, months, or even longer but would identify as feeling “new” to The Journey, you are welcome to join us at our next Newcomer Lunch on Sunday, April 8, after the 11 a.m. service.  Sign up HERE

Baptism is an act of obedience and public identification for all believers in Christ. If you have come to faith in Jesus but have never been baptized, we encourage you to attend a baptism class during our 11 a.m. service on April 15th. The class will give you a better understanding of what baptism and help you identify if baptism is the next best step in your discipleship process.

At The Journey Metro East, we care deeply for children and families and

love to make space to enter into family life and equip parents. We are

excited to announce that we are partnering with Karis House Community

Counseling Center to provide Family Growth Hours at The Journey Metro

East. Join us the third Thursday's of April, May and June for these events.

Join us at one of our upcoming dates for an hour of learning and discussion!

During these times, kids are invited to participate in a Guided Play Hour, in

which they will be introduced to a variety of activities related to social and

emotional skill building. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.

Volunteers Needed:

The Restore Network is hosting our next Parent Night Out at Faith Family Church in Shiloh on SATURDAY, APRIL 28th from 4-7pm. This event allows foster families in our network to drop off their children for a few hours so they can rest, relax, and regroup.

We need volunteers to hold babies!
We need volunteers to play video games and basketball with youth!
We need volunteers to entertain toddlers with toys and crafts!
We need volunteers to put on a spa night for our girls!
We need YOU!

Pizza and snacks are provided for volunteers during the event. All volunteers joining us will need to have a current background clearance with the Restore Network.

We'd love to have you join us as we give these kids a fun evening and further our relationship with them. Email is you are interested in volunteering.

Child Dedication is a special time for parents and guardians to publicly announce their intention to raise their child(ren) in a way that teaches about God and honors Him.

The Journey recognizes that parents are responsible to raise the next generation to know the greatness of God. We dedicate our kids because we want to partner with our church family–making a commitment to raise our children in light of God’s promises. The Journey commits to support parents as they raise the next generation to love God.

On Sunday, April 29th, The Journey Metro East will hold child dedications during the 9 AM & 11 AM Services.

Take a listen to Katie's Song of the Month!

We want to hear from you! Our desire is to be intentional about seeking God’s heart for the nations and connecting with our church community to learn more about the interest for international ministry. It will only take a minute to complete. Thank you for your feedback!
