Mark your calendars and plan to join us this next month. THIS WEEKEND SPRING FORWARD this Sunday, March 8 With spring beginning to peek through the clouds, we can look forward to longer days and warmer temperatures, and that begins by SPRINGING our clocks FORWARD 1 hour on Saturday night. Let's be real, your phone will likely do that on its own, but we wanted to give you a heads up so you're not an hour late to church on Sunday! Friday, March 6, 6:30 p.m. Come join us on Friday, March 6th to play Bunco and enjoy fellowship with other ladies. Haven't played before? You will be in good company! It's easy to learn and a no pressure game of rolling dice. Please bring a snack to share. Register through the link below, and we hope you can make it! REGISTER AND LEARN MORE Saturday, March 7, 9:30 AM - noon It's time to get our hands dirty (literally!) as we work together to beautify the church grounds - and build relationships with each other in the process! We'll be working on the flower beds, lawn, and parking lot. Bring some gardening gloves if you have some and we hope to see you there! UPCOMING EVENTS & NEWS With Easter quickly approaching, we have a unique opportunity as a church to serve newcomers – those who may not normally visit a church, but might attend an Easter service – by loving on their kids and freeing them up to hear the message of the gospel! Would you be willing to serve and love on kids 3-and-under this Easter Sunday? Whether you've never served in Journey Kids before, or have for many years, let us know if you're able to join the Journey Kids team and serve the families of South County on Easter Sunday by emailing us at email@example.com. EMAIL US BAPTISM + FAMILY SUNDAY March 29 On the fifth Sunday of March, we are excited to celebrate and worship together as a family all that God is doing in The Journey South County – and what better way to do that than be led in worship by our very own Journey Students! Children 4 and older will participate with us as we sing together and cheer on several people following the Lord in obedience through believer's baptism. Join us, bring your kiddos, and let's enjoy the church family God has graced us with on March 29th! Saturday, March 14, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Pray for the Lou is a prayer movement on the streets of our city. It's a day for believers and churches to come together in unity and exalt the name of Jesus over our city as we prayer walk all 79 neighborhoods. The Journey Tower Grove is taking place in this city-wide effort, so to find more info, click the link below or go to prayforthelou.org. REGISTER AND LEARN MORE PRAYER GROUP Would you like to pray alongside others for the needs of the church? If you'd like to join and receive regular prayer requests, please email firstname.lastname@example.org, and we'll add you to the group! You'll receive emails when we have new prayer requests to share. Copyright © 2020 The Journey South County, All rights reserved.
