Partner with families to help their students know Jesus and make Him known.
Journey Students is our ministry for middle and high school students. We are passionate about pursuing Jesus together and offering our students a safe place to discover more about the hope that Jesus offers.
What do you believe about discipling and teaching students?
The heart behind our ministry is to first and foremost teach our students about the sacrifice Jesus made for them and the abounding love that He has for His children. Once they have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we continue to disciple and walk alongside our students as they mature in their faith.
With the Spirit doing the heavy lifting, we then encourage and equip our students to become disciple-makers in their homes, schools, and communities. We also partner with parents and families so that they can continue to sharpen their students and be the primary spiritual leaders.
What programs do you offer?
We meet with our students every other Sunday afternoon at The Journey Metro East and also strive to disciple them on a daily basis.
During our Sunday gatherings we play games, enjoy fellowship, participate in worship, and break up into small groups to discuss a gospel-centered message.
How can I serve with Journey Students?
Our Journey Students leaders are such an integral part of our ministry, and they dedicate their time to pursue Jesus alongside our students. If you have a heart for helping middle and high school students know Jesus and make Him known, please email us.
