HR | Hanley Road In-Person Services

We are currently hosting one 10 a.m. service every other week for the near future (to minimize the risk of exposure and also provide a buffer if quarantining is needed).

Please note that we are well within compliance of the County Executive's guidance to enforce 25% capacity or less. We will are limiting the amount of people we can host in our space according to those guidelines and want to do our utmost to make sure we can worship safely.

Note that registrations for each member of your party are required for all our services (There are limits on how many we can safely host in our space, and we want to make sure we are able to contact attendees in case someone attending service reported getting COVID-19 later.)

If you are high risk or uncomfortable attending at this time, we totally understand. There will always be a virtual sermon option every Sunday at 10 a.m. at our website

Church is going to feel a little different than when we were together indoors last March. Service will be shorter (an hour or less), and we are taking certain precautions to ensure a safe worship experience for all:

  • Limited seating to observe social distancing; utilizing the auditorium space and the sanctuary
  • Masks required for the duration of service
  • Volunteers taking care to disinfect all touched surfaces
  • Hand sanitizer stations
  • We won't be gathering in the lobby to catch up (but chatting outside in the parking lot while socially distant is welcome! Please continue to social distance and wear a mask.).
  • Prepackaged, sanitized communion elements on select Sundays
  • No coffee bar service for time being

Hear from our Journey Leaders about what this will feel like in the video below.

As mentioned in the video, please come to the parking lot doors when you arrive. Make plans to arrive early to church, so we can get everyone smoothly checked in and seated! Because our services will be shorter, we will be locking our entrance doors at 10:15. We encourage you to have your full party together before entering the building and getting checked in. Once folks are seated, we ask them to stay seated. If you have any questions about attending church in person, please let our staff team know at

A Word to Our Families with Young Children:

Hear from Pastor Bryce as he describes how families can engage in worship in the near term.

We're sorry that we aren't able to host in-person Journey Kids at this time. However, we still encourage you to attend with your family and consider registering for a family pod in our auditorium space for Sunday mornings. Our nursing mother's room will be open, but we're keeping a max capacity at two mothers in there at once to allow for social distancing.

For those who choose to worship from home, Journey Kids lessons will continue to be available online on Youtube (The Journey Kids At Home playlist can be accessed here.) New Sunday lessons air at 8:30 a.m. for preschool and 9 a.m. for elementary-age kiddos.

We Need Your Help!

We're also happy to dialog with you about what serving will look like! (Email our staff team at for more information.)
