Hanley Road is partnering with MiddleTree Church, a nearby church that seeks to serve those in North St. Louis. They are leading out in a program called Boxes of Hope, which provides food and supplies to vulnerable individuals and families in North St. Louis. They are taking donations of food (nonperishable) and soups, paper products, snacks, kids activities, and cleaning products. Once these items are sanitized, they are packaged into boxes, which are dropped off on a doorstep of a family in need.
How can Hanley Road step into this need?
You can donate supplies by dropping them off to their church location (5959 Delmar Blvd, 63112). They have signs and designated drop off zones, that make possible a contact free drop off. Their weekly drop off times are Tuesday evenings (5:30-7:30 p.m.) and Friday and Sunday afternoons (1-3 p.m.).
You can also volunteer to receive and sanitize the donations or pack the boxes. They limit their volunteer groups to 5 people per shift, and all volunteers wear clean, fresh masks and new gloves with every shift. To sign up for volunteering, please complete the Volunteer form on the MiddleTree Church website.
We want to be able to celebrate Hanley Road and those little moments of beautiful service and community connection! Please post a photo to our Hanley Road Facebook page or email us a photo of you donating or volunteering, so that we can share that with our church family and praise God for the good work he is doing in St. Louis.
