The Alethea Project is a new documentary screening series taking place in large evangelical churches across the United States. It seeks to use nonfiction film as a means to encourage productive, civil dialogue around difficult social topics, model bridge-building between churches and secular arts organizations, and grow appreciation for the art and craft of nonfiction film.
Join The Journey at Hanley Road and the Alethea Project for a free screening of The Interrupters. The film screening will take place in our main sanctuary on the main floor. Stay after for a moderated discussion.
The Interrupters is an up close look at curbing violence in a Chicago neighborhood by redirecting youth from violence to conflict resolution.
NOTE: This event will take place at The Journey Hanley Road campus.
