You were made for deep relationships & community

We believe that God has made us to commune with one another. He has also specifically called a community of people to be set apart for himself, this is the Church. Here at Bayless we are a church committed to being a community of people set apart for God, and that means we are connected to one another.

I’m new to Bayless.

Where do I start?

We're so glad you're here! Our Next Step Request is a quick way for us to connect with you, hear your needs, and point you in the right direction.

We also invite you to have a conversation with a member of the Welcome Team, Response Team, or a Pastor/Elder.

Take Your First Step

How can I get connected to other people in the church?

  • If you are ready to learn more about The Journey, hope to meet new people, and are eager to take next steps into connection, Journey 101 is the place for you! We’ll use this short class to learn more about you, your story, and your experience so far at The Journey and then we’ll spend a short amount of time bringing you into our story and where we see the Lord leading us.
  • Joining a group is a great way to connect to others, build relationships, and grow alongside other believers. We have several types of groups for you to browse.
  • Follow us on social media! You can find us on Facebook (The Journey and The Journey Bayless) and Instagram (The Journey and The Journey Bayless).
  • Best yet, come say hi! Sunday services at Bayless are a great time to meet our pastors, our staff, our elders, and our deacons!

How can I find out about upcoming events?

Our Church Center App has the most updated information for all of the ways to connect.

View it on your browser or download the app. Search and select for The Journey South County, then go to the “Register” tab in the bottom menu to see all of the events we have coming up.

We generally have a variety of events on our calendar that give us an opportunity to eat, serve, and/or have fun together.

See you soon!

How can I get connected to a pastor?

Filling out the Next Step request is still the best way to connect directly with one of our Pastors.
By choosing the “I would like to talk to a Pastor” option,
one of our Pastors will reach out to you as soon as possible (usually within a week).
